Position Overview & Responsibilities
As a Software Developer and Technical Support Specialist, you will become a core contributor to our team with the following responsibilities:
- working effectively within a team environment to deliver industry-leading products, product documentation and training resources
- engaging in the process of designing, coding and implementing software solutions
- performing appropriate tests to ensure the highest quality products
- providing remote customer service, training and support for the full complement of Tee-On products (e.g. over the phone, by email and via the internet)
- working closely and effectively with customers on problem resolution
- staying on top of the latest technologies, tools, and techniques
Qualifications and Required Skills
- post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- expertise in the Java technology stack and related technology and tools
- good working knowledge of Multi-Threaded Applications
- good working knowledge of transaction based systems (Apache, Websphere)
- good working knowledge of common Database Systems (MySQL, DB2)
- good working knowledge of HTML and Javascript
- excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- strong customer service orientation
- exceptional aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem solving
- highly self-motivated with proven organizational and implementation skills
