As a result of our promising growth, we have an immediate need for a Web Application Developer whose key mandate is to ensure our projects complete successfully on time and on budget.

Summary

EyeLook Media is a London, Ontario based company. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team with individuals that excel with the required skill set. The Web Application Developer will report to the CEO and assist in the development and deployment of EyeLook Media’s digital signage and interactive solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and test code to suit interactive and digital signage projects
• Provide technical solutions for client implementations including layout/planning of interactive and digital signage solutions
• Integrate functionality into applications that will serve as standard modules for future projects
• Update and manage content for clients through our software
• Maintain technical manuals
• Research and keep up-to-date on new digital signage technologies, hardware and software development concepts and principles
• Manage all aspects of integrating hardware and software systems for digital signage projects
• Manage and support a large network of windows PC’s across Canada and the USA
• Manage Apache on OSX and IIS web servers for development, staging and live scenarios
• Act as the technical support specialist for company staff and clients
• Attend and participate in production meetings, working with team members keeping them up to date in relation to clients and projects
• Work within our project management software to automate tasks and processes
• Work closely with prospective clients and existing clients to discover their project needs and functional requirements
• Work with the sales and graphic design teams to ensure the end product meets client expectations

Requirements

• Post-Secondary education in Programming or Computer Science, and/or a related discipline and equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines while maintaining proper focus
• Knowledge and experience in OOP will be a definite asset
• Strong ability to multi-task, switch focus on the fly and be dymanic
• Able to manage time wisely and complete tasks on time and according to plan
