Quality Control Technician
The Quality Technician is responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results data during product development and manufacturing and for CMM Programming for accurately measuring parts.

Duties an d Responsibilities:

• To inspect parts or assemblies to ensure adherence to quality
• To inspect parts or assemblies to ensure adherence to quality
• To calibrate gauges
• To fix and maintain gauges
• Monitor and train operators to encourage appropriate quality practices
• Product conforms to customer requirements
• Increase profitability by decreasing waste
• CMM accurately measuring parts
• CMM programs available for new production parts
• Other duties available – scrap recording and communication with vendor

Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent / relevant experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience an asset.
• CMM and other gauges operation.
• MCosmos software (CMM)
• Knowledge of general machining practices.
• Ability to multitask, self-starter, independent worker.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong learning desire & aptitude.
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
