Job Description
London based construction company is currently seeking Construction Designers both entry level and experienced to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
- Designing residential and commercial roof truss construction using Mitek, Revit or AutoCad software
- Designing construction according to customer plans and specs and ensuring attention to detail and accuracy
- Updating team on any plan or blueprint changes and changes to estimates/costs
- All to other administrative tasks including filing, faxing, scanning
Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of Diploma in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architectural Technology
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Experience with design software including Mitek, Revit or AutoCad software
- Previous construction truss design experience is an asset to this position
- Ability to work independently as well as ability to work in a team environment to meet specified build timelines
