Job Description
StarTech.com is currently looking for an Inventory Planner to join our Inventory Management team at our Corporate Office in London, Ontario.
Reporting to the Channel Inventory Supervisor, the Inventory Planner makes an impact by managing and ensuring product availability at Distribution Partners through forecast, standardized replenishment logic, analysis and operation of Ross forecasting system. The Inventory Planner is also responsible for tracking, trend recognition, discrepancy resolution and supporting the day–to-day channel inventory related challenges and requests (both internal and external), ensuring optimal inventory and customer service for our channel partners.
What You Will Gain
- Close interaction with multiple teams and departments across the organization as well as customers
- Experience utilizing and improving various OS templates across all regions
- Responsibility for ensuring product availability and inventory accuracy while keeping customer satisfaction top of mind

The opportunity to ensure inventory and related processes, transactions, and records are accurate and sufficient
- Experience working through large amounts of data while ensuring data integrity
- Experience managing stock allocations and rotations (aging & end–of-life cycle inventory)
What You Can Show Us

Working knowledge of channel inventory analysis and reporting of various metrics associated with product availability
- Ideas around driving efficiency, strong work ethic, good problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Purchasing or Business; SCMP, APICS or PMAC designations an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
