McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire a Licensed Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team. This position is located at our London location, and is required to work the afternoon shift.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting issues that may arise with plant processing and packaging machinery at Clarke Road and RHR Facilities.
• Take a leadership role in maintaining and improving Line Productivity.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance on machines and lines.
• Ability to communicate, organize, and plan between maintenance and operations. 
• Ensuring a safe and reliable workplace.
• Report concerns to Supervisor.
• Follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
• Identify new ways of developing systems to improve efficiency.
• Adhere to government regulations and guidelines for machinery repairs.
• Adhere to GMP standards, Health and Safety regulations and work procedures.
• Work overtime when required.

 Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A)
• Food processing / packaging experience is preferred.
• Must have proficient knowledge working with and troubleshooting control systems (i.e. AB PLCs - RSLogix5000, RSLogix500, VFDs, HMIs, Servos, and Ethernet/IP Networks)
• Must have excellent automation troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
• Demonstrated experience in both Mechanical and Electrical trades preferred.
• Must be flexible to work rotating shifts and weekends.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to upgrade technical skills as required.
• Physically capable of carrying out all aspects of tasks involved.
