Job Description
Design Group has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Engineering Systems who is a licensed engineer in Ontario to support our client, a manufacturer of pumps & pumping systems for use in municipal water and wastewater infrastructures in Canada.

The successful incumbent will be an experienced, motivated and team-oriented individual who can apply their expertise by leading a team in providing project management services related to development, design, and commissioning for waste water and municipal applications.
Key Focus:
- Apply technical development, design, construction and commissioning expertise to carry out process optimization evaluations and implementation in the water, wastewater and bio-solids facilities
- Identify, assess, prioritize and make recommendations on projects to better enable long-term sustainability for the client
- Prepare scope, estimates, specifications and tender documents, technical and approval reports for projects
Mandatory Requirements:
- Licensed member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng)
- Strong knowledge of principles of engineering design of complex water and wastewater systems, and municipal, environmental and OH&S legislation
Additional Qualifications:
- Excellent project, time & organizational management skills
- Very strong analytical, problem-solving, and design/review skills
- Strong negotiating and presentation skills supporting customer interaction leading to successful project completions
- Role requires a professional level of oral & written communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
