JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • Record and maintain accounts receivable subledger
  • Post and reconcile intercompany invoices and balances
  • Processing of Accounts Payable invoices to ensure accurate, proper and timely processing of payments
  • Processes payment runs, ensuring data is accurate and complete
  • Professionally communicate to internal and external parties
  • Maintain accounting of the fixed asset ledger including depreciation
  • Compile and submit monthly HST filings
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with PE GAAP, IFRS, and internal accounting policies
  • Ensure proper approval in accordance with company delegation of authority
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts
  • Review, investigate, and solve accounting related issues
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Completes month-end reconciliation reports
  • Input and complete daily bank reconciliations
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required
           
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • University degree or College Diploma in Business/Finance
  • Possess a Professional accounting designation: CPA, CMA or CGA preferred
  • Advanced computer knowledge including MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 is an asset
  • Minimum of 3+ years in Finance/Accounting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of Canadian GAAP and IFRS
  • Basic understanding of Canadian Corporate and Personal Tax
  • Proficient in German is an asset
