Job Description
Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a part-time Accounting Clerk on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Virtuo Accounting Software and have strong attention to detail.
Duties (may include and not limited to)
- Data entry of hours and dollars from invoices received into Excel
- Entering Invoice/Expense forms using Virtuo Accounting Software
- Cheque matching and processing
- Filing, faxing, preparing mailings
- Other general accounting/admin responsibilities as required
- Minimum of a 2 year College Diploma or University Degree in Business Accounting
- Minimum of 1-2 years in an accounting role with similar duties
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; 2010 version preferred
- Working knowledge of accounting software; Virtuo software experience preferred
- Candidates must be flexible to work 3 days per week from 8:30am – 4:30pm with some flexibility in start and end times
- Starting wage is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending upon experience
