Job Description
Talentcor Woodstock is currently recruiting for Welders for their client in Woodstock.
These are temporary to permanent roles for qualifying individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Wage: $15/hr. + 4% Vacation pay weekly.
Hours: Monday – Friday Dayshift 7am -3.30pm
Monday – Thursday Afternoon shift 3.30pm -2 am. May be overtime on Fridays.
Shifts do not rotate
Skills and Requirements:
· Reliable transportation is a must
· Must be able to work overtime as needed
· Previous welding experience an asset
· Ability to check the quality of work
· Maintain and encourage a safe working environment
· Work as a team member in all situations
**Must supply own safety shoes and welding helmet.

- Must have experience with gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG)
- Working with steel, iron and heavy metals
- Lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic & fully automated welding equipment
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Must have own steel-toed safety boots & welding helmet
- Other duties as required by your supervisor
