Tool Crib Attendant (30 minutes from London)
Our client is a global manufacturing leader who has a diversified client base across the construction, agricultural, transportation and the marine industries, not the automotive industry. They are currently searching for an experienced TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT to join their team at their facility located approximately 30 minutes from London. The successful individual will be responsible for the effective running of the tool crib area where they would distribute tools to production operators as well as organize, maintain and replenish inventory as required.

Duties
- Hand out tools and MRO items to Operators.
- Organize cutting tools and MRO Inventory.
- Monitor and order tools and MRO items for production.
- Maintain records and inventory.
- Maintain list of outstanding PO items from all vendors.
- Update and send outstanding PO’s.
- Sort tooling for regrind and repair.
- Some previous experience in a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with a variety of computer programs, ideally with SAP.
- Access to reliable transportation as this company is located 30 minutes north of London.
- Able to work STRAIGHT AFTERNOONS after training on days.
