LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICES - RECORDS CENTRE - SUMMER STUDENT POSITION
 
Two (2) students are required to assist with the organization and inventory of student files for archival storage at the TVDSB Records Centre. These files will be transferred to the Records Centre from supervisors and coordinators of areas inclusive of School Counselling and Social Work Services, Speech & Language Services and Psychological Services. The successful candidates will also be assisting the Records Information Management Officer with the organization and inventory of school archival records. Duties will include packing, lifting and carrying of boxed records weighing up to 30 pounds. Related experience and use of Microsoft Excel would be an asset. Candidates must be detail oriented and be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
 
Candidates must be 16 years of age or older, currently attending school full time and must be
returning to school full time in 2017 September. Submit a copy of your current school timetable

Dates of EmploymentMonday, 2017 May 01 to Friday, 2017 August 25                                               
 
Hours of Work:             35 hours per week
                                    2017 May 01 to 2016 June 30
                                    Monday-Friday: 0830 - 1600 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch
                                    2017 July 04 to 2017 August 25
                                    Monday-Thursday: 0800 - 1530 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch
                                    Friday-0730-1130
 
Location:                      951 Leathorne St., London
 
Rate of Pay:                  $10.70 - $11.40 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
