Job Description
Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a full-time Account Manager on an evaluation hire basis. The ideal candidate would be an energetic sales person who is able to build and maintain relationships business to business.
Duties:
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Manage the sales process from the first call through to closing the sale
- Attend industry trade shows throughout the US and Canada (average of 5 shows per year)
- Submit weekly reports for sales leads and new account setup
- Become an expert with our products and capabilities as a manufacturer
- Present our product line and programs to buyers, merchandisers, and designers
- Offer direction and advice to customers when selecting products and colors
- Maintain cloud based system for tracking customers and sales activity
- Submit sales quotations, generate freight quotes, and proactively follow up on all sales leads
- Other office related duties as needed
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year College Diploma in Business, Marketing, or Sales
- At least 1 to 3 years sales experience within an Account Manager role
- Proficiency with MS Office suite including Excel
- High level of comfort with cloud based software, email, and skype
- Must be sales focused and results driven
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to follow instructions and show leadership on assigned projects
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel as needed
