Position Summary

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support our production processes in a flexible manufacturing, team environment with rotating shifts.
• Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.).
• This position requires extensive work with logic controllers and robotics.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears.
• Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods.
• Participate in and providing On the Job Training with / to other maintenance Team Members.

What you offer:

• An Ontario or Inter-Provincial 309A/442A Electricians Certificate
• A Technicians certificate is preferred
• A background in or affinity toward writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and/or repairing programmable controllers, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
