Opportunity
Plumbhouse Plumbing, Heating & Electrical, is currently looking for a full-time Plumber to join their team.
Responsibilities and Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with on-call rotation (one week a month)
- Respond to calls from the dispatch team
- Maintain company vehicle – operate safely and preserve cleanliness
- Provide advice to customers about standards, safety features and maintenance equipment
- Complete work orders as per client specifications and input; review completed job with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
- Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time
What we offer
- $30 - $35/hr based on experience
- $2000 signing bonus – after 4-month probationary period

What you offer
- Valid Ontario Plumber (306A) License
- Valid 'G' driver's license and clean driving history
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Valid WHMIS and Working at Heights Certifications
- An understanding of current regulations within the field
- Able to follow health and safety standards and comply with all building codes
- Knowledge of and/or experience with sewer machine and jetting
- Capable of working in residential and commercial settings
- Knowledge of high-rise apartments is an asset
- Able to communicate clearly and read, write, and speak English fluently
- Punctual and dependable
- Team player – able to collaborate with team members to provide high-quality customer care
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Committed to quality, safety, service, and customer-focused service
- Analytical – able to identify problems and determine customer-focused solutions
- Comfortable with technology – used to create work orders and complete timesheets
