VSI - London, ON is looking for a junior to intermediate web designer with expertise in Microsoft ASP.Net user interface styling. We are seeking an individual that is familiar with current web design trends and tools. In addition to technical skills this individual will also be self-motivated, display a high sense of responsibility and have demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will:

• Modify the layout and styles of existing functional ASP.Net screens to upgrade the visual impact
• Possess an eye for detail, ensuring designs are consistent and aesthetically pleasing
• Work with the development team to provide standard layout approaches and styling for future development
• Be very familiar with the Bootstrap UI framework 

  
Qualifications/Skills:

• 1+ years of web design experience
• Experience and strong knowledge of current web technologies
• HTML, HTML5, XML, CSS, CSS3
• C#, Javascript, JQuery knowledge an asset
• Twitter Bootstrap, Foundation Responsive Web Frameworks
• Experience and strong knowledge of web design tools
• Experience with Source Control Solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Strong knowledge of web UI design and UX principles
• Exceptional design and illustration skills
• Exceptional creativity and imagination
• Strong proactive problem solving skills
• Thorough understanding of client revision process and ability to work through revisions diligently
• Outstanding work ethic, excellent time management skills and the ability and willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs and project deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently
• Proven ability to uphold confidentiality
• A good portfolio of design work
• Experience in creating wireframes to communicate user interaction considered an asset
