Some of the daily duties include
  • Resolve printer issues
  • Resolve desktop issues
  • Support end users with Microsoft Office
  • Support mobile staff
  • End user support (office, basic user questions)
  • Multimedia support
  • Backup (performed Daily, Monthly, and Yearly)
  • Server support and maintenance (performed Daily and Monthly and Yearly)
  • Review and clean up old event files
  • Help end user find and maintain files on server
  • Network Support
  • Resolve internet issues
               
Skills needed
  • Windows  7 desktop  support  (needed)
  • Microsoft Office (know how it works and how to setup and how to fix)
  • Networking (basic needed at least)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • A team player
  • Good initiative
  • An understanding of backup recovery methods
  • Understanding of  Active Directory system
  • Understanding of firewalls and protocols
  • Group policy
  • Knowledge of server 2008, server 2012
  • Know how Windows virtual desktop works
