Do you have 3 to 5 years general accounting and office administration experience? Are you a team player with excellent attendance?  Our client is looking for an Accounting Assistant to process payroll, accounts receivable and payables. The successful applicant must possess solid skills in Simply Accounting with project costing. The wage for this position ranges from $18.00 - $21.00 an hour based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing payroll for multiple small companies
• Month-end general accounting duties
• A/P & A/R management
• Petty cash management
• Bookkeeping
• General reconciliations

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1-2 years experience processing payroll
• Experience in construction billings considered an asset
• 3-5 years general accounting experience and office administration
• Post-secondary accounting diploma/degree or equivalent experience
• Strong MS office skills
• Solid grasp of Simply Accounting project costing
• Great communication skills (both oral and written)
• Superior organizational skills coupled with a can-do attitude
