Job Description:
The position of an Administrative Associate within the Agronomy Company of Canada is required immediately. Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Accounting and Tax, the applicant should be proficient in accounting, data entry and have superior customer service skills. The potential candidate will be responsible for efficiently invoicing sales orders and shipment transactions of Crop Protection Products and Seed to maintain accuracy of Accounts Receivable and Inventory Records.
Verify prepaid and open sales order balances and record relevant shipping data.
Communicate with CPP Coordinator, CPP and Seed Leads, Agromart Partners and Staff, Suppliers and Agronomy Accounting Staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of sales orders.
Provide backup support to CPP Coordinator to assist in placing CPP orders during peak demand periods. Contribute as necessary to support other purchasing group functions as priorities for business evolve. Maintain high levels of customer service by responding expeditiously to requests.
Perform data entry support functions to maintain the integrity of existing accounting and inventory control systems.
Assist in implementation of Agronomy training events and conferences. Other duties may be added as needed.
Requirements:
A post-secondary education is preferred with at least 3 years of business-related experience.
Have strong organizational and prioritizing skills and ability to meet many deadlines.
Be able to work in a team environment but also work independently and be willing to work extended hours during peak periods.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Have advanced Microsoft Office experience with intermediate skills in Excel.
Driver’s license.
