Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Operator/Dock Worker for a busy transportation company in south London. This position is straight night shift.
This position is temp to perm.
Duties:
- Load, unload and move product and materials to and from trailers and containers
- Operates equipment such as counter balance forklift, clamp truck, dollies or hand trucks
- Verify and record accuracy of shipments being received and shipped
- Able to lift 50lbs repetitively. May occasionally include sorting and palletizing products.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Forklift Certificate
- Must have a clean criminal record
- Must be physically fit, as lifting up to 50lbs can be required
- Must be able to communicate fluently both written and verbally in English
Wage: $18.75/hour
Shift: 8pm-4am (end time can vary pending work load)
