Summary

Harring Doors ia a manufacturer of high quality stile and rail wood doors for Architectural /  Commercail and Residential Markets. The Engineering Technician performs various duties, which includes shop drawings, customer approval drawings, order processing, CNC programming and purchasing.

Primary Responsibilities

1: Process orders and provide all required paperwork for the manufacturing process

2: Various drawings for customer approval and production

3: CNC programming for hardware machining and custom door components

Additional Responsibilities

1: Job shadow the Production Manager and learn all tasks in the Engineering / Order Processing Dept.

2: Assist in developing new CNC program systems for hardware machining

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Degree / diploma in Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology

Computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Mastercam

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Strong time management skills with the ability to multi task

Ability to work in  a team environment

Previous experience in design, engineering and manufacturing

Knowledge of doors and hardware would be an asset
