Job Duties:
- Collaborate closely with the IT team to build out internal network infrastructure for future projects
- Maintain current networking infrastructure (firmware updates, hardware upgrades)
- Administer corporate firewalls
- Work with ISPs on future requirements
- Deploy and maintain network monitoring tools and log collection systems
- Responsible for network improvements to increase end user productivity
- Document network layouts and data flow
- Analyze and cleanup current network configurations for performance and security improvements
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Coordinates and ensures the standard implementation of policies, procedures and systems operations
- Minimum 4 years of network administration experience
- Strong familiarity with Ubuntu Linux and Microsoft Server OSExpert level understanding of network protocols
- Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with HP wireless access controllers, access points and switches
- Experience with open source systems monitoring tools
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Forward-looking, innovative, enthusiastic and ambitious, team player, and high performer
- Self motivated and ability to work independently while having strong judgment with strong work ethics
