Job Description
Western Area Youth Services Inc. is an accredited children’s mental health centre that supports children, youth and their families throughout Southwestern Ontario. Since 1969, over 5,000 youth have lived in our group homes and thousands more have benefited from a variety of community programs in London and Aylmer. Western Area Youth Services has 9 facilities and over 200 staff with a consolidated management team and a single board of directors. Western Area Youth Services is currently recruiting for: 2- Part Time Family Support Workers - (London and Aylmer)The London position is MALE required. The successful London candidate could fill both positions, if interested.Position Summary: The person in this position is responsible to provide direct support to children, youth and their families in their home and community. The services will include advocacy, teaching, recreation and counselling. Qualifications:
