Prerequisites for this position include:

• Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience
• Grade 12 education
• College or University education or equivalent experience preferred
• Valid driver’s licence
• No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
• Pass company medical
• Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills 

General Responsibilities for this position include:

• Timely scheduling of team members through Plant Manager and assigned personnel
• Adhere and promote compliance to relevant ISO standards
• Safe working environment for all personnel
• Fulfill department and plant goals and objectives
• Responsible for continuous improvement
• Logistic/inventory requirements are understood
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance procedures are followed
• Liaise and proactively support all Customer requirements
• Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Ensure all subsequent document and data controlis compliant to Customer requirements
• Identify/procurement of tools and supplies needed complete work assignments
• Liaise with LLP team to ensure Customer requirements are met
• Liaise with Plant Manager and senior TFT management on strategic initiatives as required
• Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement with all team members
• Adheres and promotesall Health and Safety regulations
• Participates in all training requirements as it relates to all team members
• Participate in the hiring and orientation of new employees
• Completion of performance reviews
• Participate in disciplinary actions as required
• Understand and ensure compliance with WSIB
• Lead in establishing 5’s principles and there applications
• Identify development needs of his/her team and take appropriate actions to ensure the team maintains a high degree of competence
• 0 Lost time incidents
• Quality Performance
• Ownership of Daily communication of Performance objectives to direct reports – sign off sheet
• Completion of Opportunities for Improvements  identified
