Job Description
Industrial Millwright
On behalf of my client in St. Thomas I am currently recruiting for an Industrial Millwright to accept a position on rotation within the Maintenance team. The successful candidate would possess a license and ideally previous experience in an Automotive Manufacturing facility.Salary: $35.64
Shift: 3 Shift Rotations every 2 Weeks (Midnights / Afternoons / Days)
+OT on Saturday and DT on Sunday is available on voluntary basis
Overtime is paid after 40 hours, 2 weeks’ vacation and benefits available
Millwright Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 433A Millwright License
- 2 to 4 years’ experience as an industrial mechanic millwright
- 3 years’ experience in Manufacturing is an asset
- Assembles, troubleshoots, and repairs various types of machinery and equipment.
- Identifies and corrects problems found in equipment or processes in order to facilitate production.
- Detects, isolates, and identifies irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Fabricates new parts and/or replaces defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul.
- Performs tooling fabrication for fixtures or compaction/automation cells to replace broken or worn tooling.
- Perform preventative maintenance once machines and equipment are put into operation.
- Ensure safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed at all times.
- Troubleshoot and program robots.
- Keep maintenance records (PMC) to and log downtime and personal hours on specific jobs.
- Order and sign out/ receive spare parts as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervision.
