Job Description
We are currently seeking a student for the summer months to help us develop our Progressive Dairy Farm Safety programs.

You will help develop, administer and implement dairy client occupational health and safety programs utilizing our online My HR&Safety Coach enterprise management software.

About the Job
You will help develop, administer and implement dairy client occupational health and safety programs utilizing our online My HR&Safety Coach enterprise management software.
Duties Include
- Build strong rapport and effectively manage relationships with clients through superior customer service and communication to ensure a positive experience
- Review client safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures and write reports and recommendations.
- Complete Job Hazard Assessments on dairy farms
- Create Safe Operating Procedures
- Keep up to date with changing safety legislation and keep clients informed of changes helping them stay compliant
- Research occupational safety information to assure the best available methods and equipment are adopted to minimize the hazards in the work place.
- Provide training to clients and create online training modules
- An extensive firsthand knowledge of the progressive dairy industry
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to accuracy, detail and follow-up
- The ability to maintain a high level of performance while working under the pressure of time constraints and scheduled deadlines within a fast-paced changing environment
- Must be a highly motivated team player that strives to provide exceptional service and take pride in the quality of your work
- Computer literate including strong Microsoft Office capabilities
- Post-Secondary education with a focus on Safety, Human Resources and/or Agriculture
- Previous experience in Human Resources or Safety an asset
- Valid Class G driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
