IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for a Millwright Mechanic in St. Mary’s! Our client is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to the automotive industry and is looking for a Millwright Mechanic to join their team that is seeking long-term employment with a growing company. If you are a skilled Millwright looking to grow your abilities in an in-demand industry, this may be the role for you!

Pay Rate
                ~ Beginning rate- $37.92 per hour + 0.65 shift premium on Afternoon and Night shift.
                ~ Pay rate after 60 days- $39.09 + 0.65 shift premium on Afternoon and Night shift.
                ~ Pay rate after 12 months- $39.95 + 0.65 shift premium on Afternoon and Night shift.

Shift Structure (2-week rotation)
                ~ Day shift- 7:00am to 3:30pm
                ~ Afternoon shift- 3:00pm to 11:30pm
                ~ Night shift – 11:00pm to 7:30am

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, maintaining, repairing, fabricating troubleshooting, inspecting, dismantling, and moving machinery and equipment.
  • Performing PM’s (Preventative Maintenance) on all production and plant equipment as well as hands-on mechanical troubleshooting 
  • Complete system support wok as trained (PLC programming, calibrations, rigging/hoisting, etc).
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment.
  • Will be working with hydraulics, pneumatics (repairing and troubleshooting) as well as facility fixtures. 
  • Proactive in making recommendations for possible improvements to both equipment and processes. 
  • Fabricate jigs, fixtures, and other production tools. 
  • Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures 
  • React to production needs to ensure that quality parts are produced and downtime due to machine breakdown is minimized. 
  • Perform new equipment installations as needed. 
  • Must have own tools. 
  • All other relevant duties.

Qualifications
  • Fully licensed Millwright
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a Millwright role within a manufacturing environment
