We currently have an exciting new opportunity to join our Strathroy Manufacturing Facility.
 
The Person:
As a key member of our Finance Team, the successful candidate will report to the Plant Controller.  You will provide accounting services and support to the finance team and customer/supply base.
 
Your duties will also involve:
 

• Accounting Functions: Maintain Accounts Receivable System.
• Control of all customer invoices/vouchers and payments.
• Validate, add and update customer purchase orders.
• Assist with customer inquiries.

• Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly account and bank reconciliations.
• Balancing all inter-company invoicing.
• Issuing of accounts receivable invoices & control of same.
• Maintain records on accounts receivable system.
• Liaison with all departments on invoicing discrepancies/issues.
• Backup to Accounts Payable and Financial Analyst for absences.
• Administration of Purchasing Cards and Electronic Requisitioning System.
• Assist in Accounts Payable processing.
• Other duties as required, including special projects as they arise.

 
You will possess a College degree or equivalent in Accounting with goal of achieving a designation.  CGA/CMA Second Level preferred.
You should have good written and verbal communication, negotiation, computer, organizational and time management skills.
 
The home base for this position will be at our Manufacturing Facility in Strathroy, Canada.
