Job Description
Design Group London is recruiting a Regulatory Affairs Associate for our client, a London based multi-national organization considered a leader in the manufacturing sector. This is a 6 month contract paying a base hourly rate of $27-$33 (based on experience) + 4% vacation pay
Primary Focus:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for Safety Data Sheet Generation (SDS) under the new WHMIS 2015 regulations and for product environmental, health and safety compliance with Environment Canada and Health Canada regulations
Additionally you will prepare regulatory text for consumer products that are compliant with Consumer Chemical Container Regulations
Minimum qualifications:
- University Degree in Science or Engineering focusing on Chemical, Environmental and/or Health Sciences OR
- More than 5 years work experience in the area of product environmental, health and safety compliance.
Desired qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- 5+ years experience in product environmental, health and safety compliance
- Ability to learn and work with multiple computer applications – general computer literacy
Salary: 27-33$ hourly depending on experience
