Autodata is looking for a Project Manager for our London, Ontario office.

Position Overview

The role of the Project Manager is to provide leadership and plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines, defined scope and within budget.  This includes managing assigned resources and coordinating efforts of third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.  The Project Manager will also define, document and manage the project’s charter, plans, communication plan and oversee the delivery of the project according to established methodologies. 

Core Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Ensure projects are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle
•    Partner with stakeholders to develop and define project delivery approach and success criteria
•    Define and develop project documentation in collaboration with project sponsor stakeholders
•    Manage overall project development through entire life cycle 
•    Develop full-scale project plans and communications documents
•    Manage all project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
•    Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
•    Manage project dependencies and the critical path and resolve potential conflict
•    Identify issues and risks and devise contingency and mitigation plans
•    Define project success criteria to parties throughout the project life cycle
•    Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
•    Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
•    Ensure time reporting is completed accurately and as required
•    Communicate clear project expectations to team members and stakeholders 
•    Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence positive action and accountability 

Education, Experience and Competencies:
•    Post Secondary degree in Business or Computer Science 
•    Project Management Professional certification an asset
•    Develop best practices and tools for managing project execution 
•    Understanding of computer systems and integration capabilities
•    Exceptionally self-motivated, directed and detail-oriented
•    Superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
•    Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations 
•    Proficient PC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Access
