Our client, an industry leading manufacturing company in the London area, has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Machine Tooling Engineer! This division of the organization is responsible for the design and fabrication of automated manufacturing equipment and machines for use within the organization and all affiliated facilities.

In this role, responsibilities would include:
• Machine design and complete machine drawings
• Project coordination and scheduling
• Material purchasing, budget monitoring and tracking
• Component inspection
• Assisting in machine assemblies
• Participate with and lead teams through continuous improvement efforts and projects
• Overseeing run-off testing on automated machines
• Managing installations, trailing and training of new equipment

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in automated machinery design
• Post secondary education in Engineering field
• Experience working with AutoCAD Inventor would be ideal
• Strong understand of machinery practices, specifically pneumatics and hydraulics
• Excellent communication skills
