Position Summary
 
The Manager, Learning & Development  will  play a critical role in designing and delivering learning programs and solutions for the company.  The initial focus will be on Leadership Development.
 
In support of a continuous learning culture, you will develop learning solutions for multiple delivery methods including instructor-led, web-based, virtual classroom and blended instruction.
 
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about enhancing people’s skills and competencies. 
 
Position Qualifications 
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, Organizational Design, Psychology, or other equivalent curriculum that focuses on learning
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles and design methodologies
  • Minimum of three years of experience in design and development of instructional material in a corporate setting
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the design and development of web-based learning.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex learning solutions
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing curriculum development programs
  • Strong consulting capability with strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strong level of professionalism, presence and credibility; able to effectively challenge and influence peers and customers
  • Familiar with current learning and performance improvement industry standards, approaches, and innovations. Connected with professional organizations and maintains accessibility to industry resources
 Key Accountabilities 
  • Design and implement a formal onboarding program in partnership with HR and business partners
  • Design and implement a leadership development program in partnership with HR and business partners
  • Assist in building and implementing a formal coaching program/process for the development of leaders and employees across the organization
  • Responsible for training needs assessments/analysis to determine training needs of the organization and formulate action plans.
  • Analyze employee/leader/executive training needs to determine requirements for new program development
  • Responsible for monitoring individual contributor and leadership training programs, assessing results through evaluations. Implementing enhancements as needed. Conduct ongoing evaluations to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommend modifications as necessary.
  • Manage the career planning process.  This includes assessments, tools, and training materials for managers and employees.   
  • Responsible for a Learning Management System (LMS),
  • Responsible for the development and potential enhancements to leadership and individual contributor competencies which provide the foundation for training, performance enhancement, succession planning, and staffing
