Position description:  In this position, the successful candidate will manage HR initiatives to support the business strategy for specified regions and/or departments within the organization. 
 
Qualifications Required: The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with proven customer service and quality experience, along with advanced presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.  Minimum of 5 - 7 years of demonstrated HR Generalist experience in conjunction with:

• post-secondary education in a related field and/or equivalent work experience
• a CHRL/CHRP designation (or currently pursuing)
• strong knowledge of applicable employment legislation
• experience in organizational change management
• experience and/or knowledgeable of concepts related to lean/continuous improvement
• experience and/or knowledgeable of best practices related to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
• a minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment and selection for all position levels within an organization
• experience in the training, coaching and mentoring of others
• a minimum of 2 years’ experience in leading workplace disciplinary/mediation discussions
• intermediate to advanced level in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
• a demonstrated interest/involvement in the community and volunteer initiatives
