Quintin Warner House has an opening for a Permanent Part-Time Life Coach. This position will report directly to the Director of Quintin Warner House.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide, life skill, social skill training and addiction support to clients in all components of their program with the following responsibilities:

• Facilitate group sessions in key areas such as, relapse prevention, social skills, and life skills
• Administer medications and drug screens as needed
• Assist with meal/menu planning and cooking etc.
• Support clients as they transition/integration into community
• Provide supervision in all resident occupied areas at QWH, ensuring compliance to House Rules and documenting any interventions required
• Create and maintain client records in a confidential and professional manner
• Maintain accurate statistics and report in timely manner
• Attend client review meetings, staff meetings, graduation celebrations etc.
• Provide service to residents/clients that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of Mission Services of London
• Develop positive service linkages with community agencies/resources, resulting in seamless service to clients
• Work with Team Leader and Branch Director to develop, coordinate, schedule, deliver and supervise a variety of special projects
   
  Qualifications:
• Completion of a diploma or degree program in Social Services, Social Work
• Knowledge of WHMIS, First Aid, CPI and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Suicide Prevention Certificate
• Coaching Skill certificate (a definite asset)
• Ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people of different ages and cultures
• Knowledge of abuse, addiction issues and concurrent disorders, life skills and social skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Act in accordance and harmony with MSL Mission, Vision and Values.
   
  Position Details
• Salary range: ($17.11 - $19.48 hourly)
• Permanent Part-Time Weekends (9:00am – 9:00pm)
