Job Description
Inteqna, London Office, is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team located in St. Thomas, ON. This is a permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for general analysis of finance reports obtained from various departments such as sales, marketing, purchasing, production, etc.
- Consolidation of monthly financial results into Management reports
- Prepare sales levelization reports, spread sheets, graphs, and charts to help illustrate financial trends, customer volumes and market activities
- Assist with year end financial closure, preparation of journal entries, accounts, and reassess cash balances
- Perform audits and assist in the budget management of the company
- Gather work policies, procedures and production methods, interpret information into financial data and may be required to present to management
- Analyse monthly variances and prepare reporting package for corporate head office
- Work with department leaders to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Understand shop floor production performance and translate into financial terms
- Follow and adhere to requirements of TS16949 and ISO14001 as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance and accounting and/or statistics is preferred
- CA, CMA or CGA designation, or MBA
- 5 years experience working in a related field with a thorough understanding of accounting procedures and methods
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
- Well versed in government laws and regulations
- Advanced computer literacy in related software required (Excel, Word)
- CMS / Solarsoft and excel skills considered an asset
