Service Technician
Nevtro is a full service pump and mechanical company. Offering complete in house or on site repairs and installations. Nevtro is looking for a service technician who can keep up to our customers’ demands. As a service technician you will be required to work well independently as well as part of a team.

Basic duties but not limited:

• Preform on site or in house repairs on pumps and pumping equipment
• Assist with plumbing and pump installations on site
• Troubleshoot pumping issues and provide preventative maintenance on pumps and related equipment
• Accurately communicate to the customer all services preformed
• Completely fill out service sheets and time sheets
• Participate in an after-hours on call rotation

The right candidate will possess the following:

• Good mechanical skills
• Pump knowledge
• Be able to read schematics and break down prints
• Fabricating skills
• Power tools and related equipment
• Plumbing and some electrical
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean record

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical college certificate or degree preferred
• Relevant mechanical repair experience preferred

Physical Demand and work environments:

• Candidate will be required lift and/or carry objects up 60 lbs
• Will be required to work in cold and hot facilities
• Varying tasks, the candidate will be required to wear safety glasses, hard hat, safety boots, respirator and other related safety equipment

Compensation:

Nevtro offers a competitive starting salary. Benefits package is included after 3 month probationary period. Two weeks holiday after completion of first year. Training will be provided as well as tools.
