Job Description
OES Scoreboards, a division of OES, Inc., designs and manufactures scoreboards and related sports timing equipment. OES Scoreboards products are found in elementary and secondary schools, city and club recreation centers and arenas, colleges, universities, and professional venues throughout North America. Currently, OES Scoreboards is offering a full-time opportunity to an energetic individual who shares our same enthusiasm for sports and passion in providing our customers with exceptional service and quality. A willingness to be “on the road” is essential.
The OES Scoreboards Technician provides technical support to both internal and external customers for the OES Scoreboards division. This individual is required to provide on-site support to OES customers as required.
If you have…
- A degree and/or diploma in one of the following (or related) areas: Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Electronics Engineering
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills which include the ability to communicate technical knowledge and instructions to both technical and non-technical persons
- Experience in project management
- A willingness and ability to accommodate multiple client schedules and plan travel according to customer needs and service requirements(Approximately 50% travel which may include weekends)
- A desire to work in a driven and dynamic environment
You’ll get to…
- Perform on-site installation, service and repair for new and existing OES Scoreboard products
- Assemble, test, and create test procedures for OES Scoreboard products
- Maintain complete and accurate records of service information and installation processes provided to OES customers
- Provide accurate technical support to customer inquiries and investigate reported issues relating to Scoreboard service and installation.Provide recommendations to OES customers based on customer needs, safety, costs, and usability
- Work closely with Scoreboard Sales Team, Business Development Leader and Engineering Department in order to provide suggestions and make improvements to service procedures and customer satisfaction
- Review service and/or installation details with customer and track each case electronically according to OES service procedures
- Travel to a variety of high-end venues all over North America
