Reporting to the Ontario IT Supervisor, the role of the IT Technician is to carry out installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of computer systems, while providing support to end users. We are seeking an outgoing, self-motivated and team-oriented individual with demonstrated technical skills to join our Bonduelle Team. This is a shared position between our Strathroy and Ingersoll facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot workstation hardware, software and networked peripheral devices and systems
• Collaborate with LAN/WAN administrators to ensure efficient operation of local servers, network infrastructure and desktop computing environment
• Provide training and support to end users on new software, upgrades and computer operation
• Support development and implementation of new computer projects and hardware installations
• Develop & maintain network documentation and technical procedures

Qualifications:
• Post secondary education in the field of computer science
• Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems and industry standards
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and OEM guides
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills within a collaborative environment
• Strong documentation, written, and oral communication skills
