Job Description
Our client, an established manufacturer of engineered products in the London, ON area is currently seeking to fill the critical role of Plant Manager for their team. This is a senior-level position directly reporting to the President of the organization. Things You Should Know
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations
- Oversees all manufacturing activities of the plant; operating within budgetary guidelines; maintaining optimum operation by assigning manpower resources efficiently and effectively
- Driving and managing the production schedule to meet customers’ requirements; reviewing waste, quality deficiencies reports and identify areas for improvements; developing and executing solutions for various manufacturing issues
- Co-ordinate, mentor, monitor and measure the work of production, quality, materials, logistics, and office staff
- Define, implement and track key performance indicators for all divisions.
- Enforcing all quality, health and safety and company policies and procedures; and monitoring all equipment and ensure repairs take place as needed.
Can You Check These Boxes?
- Minimum of five years of experience in Production Manufacturing and Material Sourcing
- Diploma or degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience utilzing ERP software packages, or ability to learn
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment, while demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with budgeting and sound understanding of financial operations management
- Proven track record in improving employee performance and achieving KPIs
- Spectacular communication skills and the ability to tactfully speak with personnel at all levels of the organization
Salary
up to $95,000/per year depending on experience
