JOB TITLE:                             FINANCIAL ANALYST
LOCATION:                             Education Centre, London          
SALARY RANGE:                    $53,670 - $70,976 per year
HIRING RANGE:                       $53,670 - $68,502 per year
DATE OF VACANCY:               As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Financial Analyst provides support to school and departmental staff in relation to financial matters. The Financial Analyst completes tasks within one or more of the following areas: financial analysis and reporting; budget development and monitoring; financial systems administration; revenue and expense control; implementation of new initiatives; and organizational support and training.

EDUCATION:  Successful completion of a three (3) year degree in accounting, finance or business administration combined with successful completion of a CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA accounting designation or successful completion of a four (4) year degree in accounting, finance or business administration.

EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience using complex financial systems. Experience in an educational environment or public sector would be a definite asset exposing the incumbent to the protocols, procedures and dynamics or a political environment.
