London Machinery Inc. is an international leader in the manufacture of concrete transit mixers with sales and servicing of refuse equipment, as well as sales of CON-E-CO® batch plants. We are currently accepting resumes by email only for the above captioned position;

SUMMARY
This position includes overall product quality responsibility from raw materials to finished product. The position will work with, and provide service to internal and external customers and suppliers while exhibiting a professional and cooperative attitude
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive, professional working relationship with all customers and suppliers and be responsible for meeting customer quality expectations.
  • Perform quality inspections on in process materials as well as finished product.
  • Coordinate and work inter-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing to resolve quality related issues
  • Analyze and implement effective solutions to quality problems
  • Assist manufacturing on disposition of rejected materials
  • Implement effective corrective and preventative action utilizing structured planning methods
  •  Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent deficiencies on vehicles prior to delivery
  •  Actively participate at all quality meetings and administrate quality meetings as required in order to accelerate quality initiatives
  •  Coordinate and execute quality audits internally and externally
  •  Report and respond to quality process nonconformance issue in an expedient manner
  •  Assist in establishing and maintaining quality guidelines and procedures
  •  Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
  •  All other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or its designate
 
Basic Qualifications
  •  Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
  •  Be physically fit to perform assigned duties.
  •  Technical diploma in the Quality Assurance field or similar qualifications
  •  Training/experience in the use of statistical techniques and process improvement methods
  •  Have valid passport and the ability to travel in Canada and the U.S.A.
  •  Must have and maintain a valid driver’s licence
  • Have reliable transportation and ability to use it for supplier visits (mileage reimbursement provided)
 
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment
  •  Advanced statistical techniques training
  •  Proficiency in both official languages is an asset.
