Position:                Membership Services Representative (2)
Location:               Bob Hayward Y - 1050 Hamilton Road, London
Wage:                    $11.25/hour
         
Responsible to:      Membership Supervisor
                             
 
Closing Date:         June 21st, 2015
 
Details:                  Part-time 8 to 16 hours a week (2 positions)
Shifts:                    Varied, daytime and weekends              
 
Start Date:             Late June 2015
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve each member, participant, potential member, volunteer and staff with prompt courteous service when they visit in person or on the phone.
  • Strive to stay informed and up to date on all YMCA programs and services.
  • Solve member concerns in a customer oriented manner.
  • Provide assistance and information to each member, participant, potential member, volunteer and staff.
  • To work efficiently and proactively with all departments to ensure excellent communication regarding all programs and services.
  • To support and work as part of a staff/volunteer team to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure immediate communication of escalated member issues to Membership Manager and/or Coordinator.
  • Promote membership sales and services in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of membership area and lounge area.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous sales experience an asset
  • Criminal reference Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
