Adecco on behalf of our client are currently recruiting for a Facility Coordinator for a 1 year contract with our client. This position has the potential to turn into a full time position after the year for the right person.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Layout the scope of work for external contractors responsible for heating, plumbing, hydro, compressed air, building repairs, etc.
• Prepare RFQ, review quotes and prepare sourcing decision for contract work
• coordinate execution of work of external contractors
• planning and project management of various construction projects, e.g. press pit construction, parking lot extension, etc.

Skills Required:

• Previous project management
• Maintenance experience
• Electrical and/or Mechanical knowledge beneficial
• Construction knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the German language an asset but not required
• Experience dealing with City approvals

Salary is to be negotiated based on experience.
