Job Description
CPA / CGA Accountant - Bilingual
If you are a bilingual senior accountant (CPA/CGA or a candidate near completion of the program) with proven people and communication skills and a passion for business growth, we have a great opportunity for you in a very exciting non-traditional industry.
Reporting to the Manager, Finance your primary responsibilities will include:
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Systems Analysis - assisting in the execution of strategic directions
- Support Commercial Initiatives
- Taxation and Business Advisory
- Financial Compliance and Management Accounting
- A minimum of 5-7 years of overall experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience or 5 years as a Senior Analyst
- The ability to comply with strict deadlines and enjoy contributing to a fun and professional working environment
- A proven ability to take ownership and the ability to work autonomously, when needed
- A passion about teamwork and maintaining a pleasant corporate culture
- A self-motivated critical thinker who enjoys being challenged
- Bilingualism is a must either English/French or English/Spanish with a willingness to learn French
In addition to the typical financial experience (i.e. GL, J/E, Account Analysis, Reconciliations, Corporate Taxes, Government Compliance) it is critical that you have experience with ERP systems/business process analysis and with commercial strategy support.
