Our client in London, Ontario is currently seeking a Floral Designer on a full time, evaluation hire basis.
 
Duties (may include but not limited to):

• Assist and serve customers, providing fast and efficient service
• Accurately take orders over the telephone and in person and enter all customer information into computer
• Ensure the cooler is filled with fresh and artistic arrangements, constantly updating with new and original floral ideas
• Utilize company pricing strategy to properly price all designs
• Operate POS system and accept customer payments
• Care and processing of product and advise customers of how to do so
• General cleaning and store up-keep duties as required

 
Qualifications: 

• Design experience, preferably within the floral industry
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service through educating, promoting and consulting with customers to support the brand and customer loyalty
• Retail experience a strong asset
• A passion for flowers, with demonstrated creativity in modern and trendy floral designs required
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Must be dependable and available to work at floral peak times

 
Hours: Rotating schedule, some evenings and weekend hours required
Compensation: Dependent upon experience level
