Title: E-Commerce Analyst
Summary of Position
LBMX seeks an E-Commerce Analyst to work with clients to identify their EDI requirements and document a data exchange solution to meet those needs. The Analyst will also test and certify electronically exchanged data files. They will also coordinate and manage the parties and activities involved in projects they are responsible for.
The successful candidate will have superior verbal and written communication skills. They must be committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. A cheerful phone demeanour is a must. The successful candidate will have strong people and organizational skills. A high level of computer competency is required.
Responsibilities:
University or college degree required in a business, computer, or related field. Familiar with various EDI documents and experience in data translation desired,. Experience with various transport protocols (FTP, sFTP, AS2, VAN) preferred. Experience working within Supply Chain operations would put candidates at an advanced level for consideration.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze the requirements of clients, and implement appropriate data exchange solutions. Translate these requirements into written documentation and work cooperatively with the Development Team to implement data maps.
- Facilitate meetings with customers and identify requirements.
- Create written documentation as required.
- Report status on all projects.
- Resolve daily document and file errors by analyzing the root cause and communicating to the appropriate party.
- Act as a primary contact for internal and external customers.
- Follow-up and correspond with customers as required.
- Act as an advocate for customers within internal meetings and discussions.
- Demonstrated commitment and professional approach to providing excellent customer service.
- Familiarity and comfort working with data files in various forms (i.e. ASCII, Excel, database, XML, etc.) and accompanying file layouts.
- Ability to review and comprehend technical business requirements documentation.
- Understanding of basic business documents such as invoices, purchase orders, purchase order confirmations, advance ship notices, etc.
- Possess knowledge of, or be willing to learn EDI data standards (including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT).
- Strong attention to details. Effective problem-solving and problem-prevention skills.
- Strong verbal skills and ability to develop rapport with people over the phone.
- Ability to enthusiastically work closely with others in a positive team environment.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects from start to finish, while managing time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
- Competent and comfortable in the use of computers, including standard business software such as Excel, Outlook, and Word. SQL knowledge is an asset. Exposure to various Accounting systems is a definite asset.
- Willingness to eagerly take on new tasks as required.
- Passion for constant learning.
- Proven ability to self-manage and function effectively in a professional environment.
- Bilingualism (English and French) an asset, but not mandatory.
