                                                                                                                      CATALOGUING SERVICES - SUMMER STUDENT POSITION(S)
                                                                                                                                                                  (3 POSITIONS)
Three (3) post-secondary students are required in the Cataloguing Services, a branch of Library Services, to be involved in completing inventory of the library collections in schools; processing catalogued resources; sorting, packing and unpacking boxes of books.

Candidates must be 16 years of age or older, currently attending school full time and must be returning to school full time in 2024 September. Submit a copy of your current school timetable with your electronic application (transcripts will not be accepted in lieu of a timetable). Please note that if you do not have proof of enrollment for 2024 September at this time, TVDSB will be able to extend an offer with a proof of enrollment as a condition of continued employment.

Qualifications:            The successful candidates must have access reliable transportation as travel to
                                      schools in TVDSB is a requirement for this role.

Dates of Employment: 2024 April 29 to 2024 August 30

 Location:                     951 Leathorne Street

Hours of Work:            35 hour per week
                                      Monday-Friday: 0800 -1600 with a ½ hour unpaid lunch

Rate of Pay:                 $16.55 per hour plus 4 % vacation pay (over 18 years of age)

Expiry Date:                 2023 December 19

1          A SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER; and
2.         IF 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK FOR WORKING WITH VULNERABLE PERSONS.

3.          POST OFFER PRE-PLACEMENT MEDICAL SCREENING TESTS.
