On behalf of our client in London, Randstad Engineering is recruiting for a permanent opening for a Senior Hardware Designer. The successful candidate would posses experience with embedded hardware design in manufacturing or industrial setting using micro-controllers.

Up to 20% remote work option 

MUST HAVE FULL HARDWARE LIFE CYCLE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE

PURPOSE OF POSITION
A successful candidate will be responsible for helping with the complete embedded hardware design process and life cycle of distributed industrial control and monitoring hardware.

MUST HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
o B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering 
o 5+ years of experience in Electronics and Embedded Systems hardware design
o Designs involving micro-controllers
o Design for UL, CSA or CE compliance
o You have excellent technical documentation skills (including experience creating Design Specifications, Block Diagrams and Test Plans)
o You possess effective written and verbal communications skills
o Willingness to learn new technologies
o Willingness to help adopt new processes in an emerging environment
