In partnership with Prime Management Group Inc., Libro is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Treasury Manager to lead the organization’s daily treasury operations. In this role, you will manage and coordinate all treasury activities, optimizing overall margin, maintaining liquidity, and overseeing foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risk. As the subject matter expert, you will ensure effective practices are in place to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the credit union's financial stability and growth while adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Utilizing your broad set of skills, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the monthly modeling and analytical process to quantify risk on the balance sheet using internal and third-party vendor models.
- Providing subject matter expertise to senior managers on the implications of proposed business decisions related to quantitatively evaluating proposed pricing changes, product development and campaign pricing or hedging transactions.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of regulatory liquidity guidelines and using this to develop models, assumptions, and provide insights to support senior management decisions and strategic direction.
- Managing credit union liquidity reserve portfolio to maximize returns subject to policy constraints and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitoring and analyzing cash flow forecasts, interest rate risk, and investment portfolios to optimize returns while managing risks effectively.
- Managing foreign exchange position and monitoring the pricing and credit risks of wholesale transaction settlements.
- Managing liquidity stress testing and maintaining operational readiness to implement contingent funding plans.
- Overseeing the operational aspects and performance of the securitization, loan sale, syndication and deposit broker programs.

To qualify, you will ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics with a CFA, FRM, or CPA designation. In addition, you will have the following experience:
- A minimum 5-7 years of experience in the treasury function of a financial institution; supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Extensive understanding of the financial services industry, capital markets and personal and business banking products
- Knowledge of liquidity management, FSRA liquidity rules, CMHC Mortgage-backed securities, Canada Mortgage Bond program and deposit broker channel
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
