Job Description
Odynet Inc., located in downtown London, is an Internet Service Provider. Odynet has been providing Internet access and related services to business and residential customers throughout Ontario & Quebec since 1994.
Position:
We currently have an entry level position for a Service Desk Agent in our office located in downtown London.
Current position available is for part time hours, but may expand to be a full time positon. (primarily afternoons, and a few hours on Saturdays)
Duties:
The position will primarily involve:
Handling inbound calls, answering questions about the services Odynet offers.
Responding to customer emails.
Processing new customer sign-ups.
Assisting with any issues customers may have getting their new or existing service to work properly.
Liaising with customers about billing related issues.
Applicant must have strong customer service skills (phone support) and effective oral and written communication skills (email).
Applicant should be well aware of setup procedures for DSL/Cable modems and routers.
Individuals must be capable of troubleshooting Internet issues in a PC/Windows environment.
(Mac/Unix/Linux knowledge an asset, but not required)(Let us know what environments you are familiar with)
Must have reliable transportation.
Not required, but please let us know if you have experience with any of the following:
Hands on experience installing & troubleshooting phone cable/jacks and wiring definately an asset.
Web Design, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Perl, Cisco IOS,
